ROME AT YOUR FEET #2

in English with Judy Reeves

When: 9 December 2021

Where: Gianicolo + Campidoglio (San Pietro in Montorio + Santa Maria in Aracoeli)

Meeting point San Pietro in Montorio 9.45 am

The Gianicolo hill has always occupied a strategic position to the west of Rome and was sacred to the Roman god Janus. The views over the entire city are superb and on a clear day the mountains are visible on the skyline. The Capitoline hill is the smallest of Rome’s seven hills but also the most important, a citadel since ancient times, with many treasures, including some of the finest Renaissance architecture designed by Michelangelo himself.

Enjoy fresh air, exercise and breath-taking views of the Eternal City, and witness centuries of artistic achievement, surrounded by history and nature.
